Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the Bedlock Android app, the website sleep.regainapp.ai and related services (the "Service"), operated by EpowerX Labs Private Limited ("EpowerX", "we", "us"). By downloading, buying or using Bedlock you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Bedlock does

Bedlock is a self-control tool. You choose a bedtime, a wake-up time and a list of apps, and it shows a full-screen lock over those apps during that window, every night. It also keeps a nightly streak and a morning summary.

Bedlock depends on Android permissions, manufacturer settings and other apps. We do not guarantee that every app will always be detected or locked, or that the Service will run without interruption. Bedlock is not medical advice and is not a treatment for any sleep or health condition.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to agree to these Terms. No account is required. You are responsible for your device and the choices made in the app on it.

3. The nightly lock

The lock is meant to make opening the chosen apps harder during your sleep window. Phone calls, messages, clock and alarms, calendar, maps, UPI and bank apps cannot be locked. The once-a-night emergency unlock and the settings shown in the app are the supported ways to open a locked app or change the lock. Changes made during a lock take effect from the next night.

You remain responsible for keeping access to anything you may need for safety, health, work, travel or money. Do not lock an app if losing access to it at night could put you or anyone else at risk. If you deny or revoke a permission, force-stop the app, or your phone's settings stop it in the background, the lock may not work.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Bedlock is offered as a subscription sold through Google Play. The price, billing period and any offer are shown before you confirm. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel in Google Play at least 24 hours before renewal. You can manage or cancel any time in Google Play under Payments and subscriptions.

Google Play processes payments and its billing and refund policies apply. RevenueCat helps us deliver and validate purchases. We do not receive your card, UPI or bank details. For refund help, use Google Play's refund process or email us. Unless the law or Google Play policy requires it, using the app does not by itself create a right to a refund.

5. Permissions and privacy

Bedlock asks for permissions only when a feature needs them, and you can revoke them in Android settings. Our Privacy Policy explains what is processed on your phone and what limited data leaves it, and forms part of these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service for anything unlawful or harmful; interfere with or try to gain unauthorized access to our systems; reverse engineer the app except where the law allows; or bypass or misuse billing, purchase validation, analytics or support systems.

7. Feedback

If you send feedback, screenshots or a support request, you allow us to use it to help you and to improve Bedlock. Please do not send passwords, one-time codes or payment details.

8. Intellectual property

Bedlock, including its software, design, mascot, text and graphics, is owned by or licensed to EpowerX. We give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for personal, non-commercial purposes under these Terms.

9. Third-party services

Bedlock relies on Google Play, Firebase, RevenueCat, email providers and self-hosted analytics. Their own terms and policies may also apply. We are not responsible for services we do not control.

10. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may update, suspend or discontinue all or part of Bedlock, and change which devices or regions are supported. We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new date. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, Bedlock is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise any particular result for your sleep, health, productivity or habits. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection law that cannot be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, EpowerX will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or opportunity arising from the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Bedlock in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bangalore, Karnataka have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
